Jessica B. McClintock, Ph.D.

Dr. McClintock can help you improve your life by coaching you in implementing evidence-based coping techniques. Her ultimate goal is to help you gain awareness and insight into the negative thought and behavior patterns that contribute to your distress.


Taking into account your cultural background, life experiences, and personality, Dr. McClintock will tailor treatment to your unique needs. She is empathetic and easygoing, but will also challenge you to take a critical look at unhelpful patterns and work through the discomfort that may cause. Dr. McClintock will draw from her personal experiences and use humor when appropriate to make therapy an enjoyable experience.

Dr. McClintock is a licensed psychologist in California (PSY 28503), Nevada (PY1179), and New Mexico (PSY-2024-0040) with a master's degree in counseling (marriage and family emphasis) from California State University, Fullerton and a doctorate in counseling psychology from Marquette University. She trained at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center-Veteran Affairs Consortium and the San Francisco VA Medical Center. Dr. McClintock has over 12 years of experience treating anxiety, depression, grief/loss, relationship issues, life transitions, maternal mental health conditions, and co-morbid medical and mental health conditions (e.g., chronic pain/depression) in diverse client populations.


Dr. McClintock is skilled in brief, evidence-based treatments including cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and motivational interviewing. She also has experience in integrated behavioral health, teaching, and supervision in various clinical settings. Dr. McClintock has used technology in her practice since 2015 and generally integrates home practice into treatment plans between scheduled sessions to make it easy for clients to implement what they’ve learned into their everyday life.
